The Las Vegas school system is maintained by the Clark County Unified School District. It it the sixth largest district in the United States. The district is sectioned into five regions: Northeast, Northwest, East, Southeast and Southwest. Las Vegas schools encompass all five regions. The Clark County Unified District has also contracted with Edison Schools, Inc. as part of their efforts to keep, continue and improve for quality education for all of it's students. In addition to the Edison schools we have Charter Schools, Magnet Schools, Academies, Special Education programs and quality Alternative schools. Las Vegas believes its children as are a good investment. Our schools and the various programs they offer for every need is very evident.
